great tea! I’ve been drinking pu erh for a while, and for the price this is definitely an excellent deal. Earthy, strong, with a rather mellow yet energizing quality. I know, I know… I’m a tea snob. Have gotten some other “aged Yunan tea” on Amazon recently and it was so bad I couldn’t drink it. So I was really stoked to find some good quality stuff!

Just finished the tea I ordered back in October–i’ve really enjoyed relaxing with my own pu ehr after our Chinese neighbor/friend introduced us to it. ‘Rinse’ it, as recommended, and a small amount goes a long way. I’ve already emailed the company and they are going to provide me with a sample of the ‘raw’ variety, but I will likely make another purchase of this ‘ripe’ one again. It’s become a nightly ritual!

Very mellow tea and it tastes really good. It’s fresh tasting for what I know about it. The cake is tight, but crumbles willingly, so making a bit of tea was easy. Very nice.
