Very good gaiwan, of the 6 gaiwan that I own this one has the most consistent and easy pour. Plus holding a little bit more than 150 ml is great for when I want a little more than what I get out of my other gaiwan. The shape is good for avoiding heat while pouring too.

I don’t use a Gaiwan often , but mine broke snd I was pleased with this replacement. Easy to use and I could pour easily. Happy with purchase.
Too Cold in Madison –
This is a lovely item. Quite elegant and beautiful. I like that it is larger than most at 16 oz. But I find it awkward top steep and drink from, and pouring the freshly steeped tea into a more practical cup to drink from almost always results in spillage. Still, I do not regret this purchase in the least.

Works as a gaiwan should. There’s a small imperfection on mine but it’s so minor it doesn’t matter, especially given the cost. Gaiwan doesn’t get too hot at the edges when pouring even when doing back-to-back (2-3+) infusions.

After watching Ruyi in the Palace (Chinese series about the Qianlong Emperor) I just had to have a gaiwan (lidded teacup) to practice drinking with (now I just need one of the gorgeous decorative hairdos and the fingernail covers and I’ll be set!)
