The picture shows them in the boxes they came in. She said even the boxes were lovely to look at. It was a great gift for her and a lovely surprise. It is small - it holds about 90ml or 2 shot glasses of liquid when filled a little short of the rim (so you can pick it up and move it without spilling), and works wonderfully for tea, sake, whiskey, and more! Its surprisingly heavy for its size, and feels solid in my hand, and to my mouth as I drink.
