Blue and white porcelain has the characteristics of good color, bright color and stable color. The decoration on the tire glaze is exquisite, and the color is clear and green.
The cover is for the sky, the support is for the earth, and the bowl is for people, which implies the meaning of harmony between heaven, earth and human. The capacity is large and rich, and the shape is round and generous, which implies that the owner of tea is broad-minded, and has a big tolerance.
The cover of the bowl is not completely covered, and it is not because the workmanship is not exquisite defective products, but the designer’s ingenious design. For such design, it can not only separate the tea soup quickly, but also prevent from scalding hands.

TLDR: great! For solo sessions. The gaiwan is small. Considering how I’m just getting into the world of Gongfu brewing, this gaiwan is perfect! It’s best for solo sessions due to its size, but a gong dao bei expands it’s usage to more people (just more infusions used). Its small size makes it easy to hold and adjust the aperture when pouring, and the white inside the cup helps with seeing the steep. Many reviews are angry at the amount of water that pours out, but not me. It’s still a great amount of tea for a solo session.
